Vinyl LP pressing housed in a gatefold sleeve. Where Future Unfolds is a new work spirited by Chicago-based sound & visual artist Damon Locks. Starting as a solo sound collage piece (where Locks pulled samples from Civil Rights era speeches and recordings to create an improvisational pallet for performance on his drum machine), over 4 years the project has blossomed into a 15-piece Black Monument Ensemble featuring musicians (including Angel Bat Dawid on clarinets and Dana Hall on drums), dancers (members of Chicago youth dance company Move Me Soul), and singers (alumni of the Chicago Children's Choir). A live capture of the ensemble's epic debut at the Garfield Park Botanical Conservatory on the West Side of Chicago, Where Future Unfolds recalls the spirits of Phil Cohran's Artistic Heritage Ensemble, Eddie Gale's Ghetto Music, Archie Shepp's Attica Blues, and Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back in an inspired & utterly immediate contemporary intersection of gospel, jazz, activism & 808 breaks.

Not for side sleepers

These pillows are quite soft and flat, and offer very little support. I sleep on my side and can't use these pillows. I don't know why they're recommended for side sleepers.

A pillow made of extras soft lumps and clumps. Defective.

This pillow should not even be sold. It's simple a super soft pillow with lumps of clumps of softness. Part of my head was even touching the mattress through the clumps. I ended up throwing it on the floor at 2 am and my head and neck hurt from it. I have never had a pillow of lumps before. I hope I can return this thing.

Great pillow, but the cooling effect depends on the cover

I really like this pillow overall. It’s comfortable, supportive, and feels well made. When you use it without a pillowcase, it definitely feels cool to the touch and does what it claims in terms of that initial cooling sensation.
However, once you put a pillowcase on it, you can’t really feel the cooling effect anymore. I’ve tried multiple different pillowcases made from different materials, and none of them really let that cool feeling come through.
That said, I still love the pillow itself. It’s comfortable and supportive enough that I’m keeping it. Just keep in mind that the cooling feature works best without a cover, which isn’t ideal for everyone.
Overall, a good pillow — just manage expectations about the cooling effect once it’s covered.
