This LED downlight has an open-can design that provides better cooling, ensuring the bulb can live up to its average lifespan. The downlights in this pack of ten also come with an elegant black bezel, which complements various design schemes, making it easy to blend into any room.

Installing our LED downlight is a breeze! It's mains-powered and has a screwless push-fit and loop-in/out wiring terminals. This design allows for easy connection in series, making it hassle-free. Our LED downlight is IP65-rated, so you can mount it anywhere in your home, including the bathroom zone 1!

This recessed fitting is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Fire-rated downlights like this have a built-in intumescent pad that activates when exposed to specific temperatures, blocking even the tiniest crevices surrounding the fixture. It's also insulation-coverable but with certain limitations. It's only safe to put loft insulation on the rear of the downlight if you pair it with a 7w maximum GU10 bulb.

The downlight works with any GU10 bulb, but to optimise its dimming features, we recommend using a dimmable GU10 bulb and an LED-compatible dimmer switch! The GU10 bulbs are available in cool white, natural white, and warm white LED colours. Cool white and natural white is ideal for task lighting, while warm white light is perfect for ambient lighting.
