Wassaw Island Daylily is a compact perennial with arching grass-like deep green foliage and an abundance of buds.  The large, heavily ruffled fiery orange flowers with a bright red halo around a yellow throat bloom continuously from mid to late summer.  Best bloom in deep rich well-drained soils.  Drought and salt tolerant once established.
