Ask a scientist about Hollywood, and you'll probably get eye rolls. But ask someone in Hollywood about science, and they'll see dollar signs: moviemakers know that science can be the source of great stories, with all the drama and action that blockbusters require. That's a huge mistake, says Randy Olson: Hollywood has a lot to teach scientists about how to tell a story--and, ultimately, how to do science better. With Houston, We Have a Narrative, he lays out a stunningly simple method for turning the dull into the dramatic. Drawing on his unique background, which saw him leave his job as a working scientist to launch a career as a filmmaker, Olson first diagnoses the problem: When scientists tell us about their work, they pile one moment and one detail atop another moment and another detail--a stultifying procession of "and, and, and." What we need instead is an understanding of the basic elements of story, the narrative structures that our brains are all but hardwired to look for--which Olson boils down, brilliantly, to "And, But, Therefore," or ABT. At a stroke, the ABT approach introduces momentum ("And"), conflict ("But"), and resolution ("Therefore")--the fundamental building blocks of story. As Olson has shown by leading countless workshops worldwide, when scientists' eyes are opened to ABT, the effect is staggering: suddenly, they're not just talking about their work--they're telling stories about it. And audiences are captivated. Written with an uncommon verve and enthusiasm, and built on principles that are applicable to fields far beyond science, Houston, We Have a Narrative has the power to transform the way science is understood and appreciated, and ultimately how it's done.Binding Type: Paperback

Good flavor, not as full of tubes as I expected.
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 2), Set name: G. Orange Cream, Ela Mint
My kids have LOVED brushing their teeth with this. They had been fighting to let us brush for a while, so it was nice to find something they liked. My husband and I have been using the mint flavor, and it’s been good as well. We like the ingredients, and the texture is nice. The tubes both felt like they could have fit more, so I took off a star for size/value.

Very effective!
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1), Set name: A. Strawberry Mango
I switched my son to this toothpaste and it has been great! I haven’t noticed whitening, but his teeth do look good and clean after he has brushed. He loves the flavor. And he is one to complain about “spicy” toothpaste. This toothpaste has never been whined about in my household. In fact, switching to this toothpaste has made brushing his teeth simpler because he enjoys the flavor so much. I have noticed it doesn’t foam up like other toothpaste’s do.
Another side story, and probably the biggest thing, I think this is actually shrinking my sons cavities. His pediatric dentist told me he would need fillings before his teeth could fall out at 12 (12 year molars). I saw the cavities on the xrays. A year later, the cavities are smaller. And the dentist said if things can maintain this way, there will be no need for fillings! He does brush morning and night, and often after lunch because we homeschool and he has that ability. But I’m just thrilled that my son could potentially avoid this procedure!

I'm a repeat buyer! My toddler loves the taste and I love the ingredients. Boka is an awesome brand and I feel safe giving it to my kids and knowing their teeth are being cleaned.

More than a book-the Universe is nudging you to go here!
Format: Paperback
Where do I begin, where am I now, where am I going and how do I get there. I've been a Kundilini student for years. Masuda has been my teacher, guide and friend. No matter where I find myself at any given time or place, and whether I'm looking for understanding universal truths, tools, practices, or insights, this book points me. You have to do the work, but you want to because with this book you'll understand why and know how. On any given day, you will find a roadmap visually, spiritually and practically to empower your Chakras. So what are they... why do Chakras matter..how do I understand and develop their power in me. Masuda does an extraordinary job explaining, illustrating and giving you all the practice tools in a way that works for you. Personally, I love this book because I can take it with me anywhere, can choose/find what I need from it at any given time and she explains and shows me what to do and how to get there. It's so easy to follow and the results are so meaningful.
I'm a visual person... In the most perfect ways this book leads me, and shows me physically and mentally. I can back up or move faster depending on where the universe points me and then I do the work. Bottom line, I'm a better human. Thank you Masuda for this extraordinary 'lesson planner' and helping me unlock what's already in me!!
