Here she is, my second Ramble Folk Signature Bag in this collection! :)

My Signature Bags are hours and hours of work and many, many pinholes in my finger tips, but they are wonderfully fun to create!

I've been curious about textile design forever, and wanting to create unique pieces of upcycled textile from my scraps and vintage materials. This beauty has a denim cutaway, hand worn and frayed by me, and meticulously stitched in place to maintain the fray, and expose the beautiful scarfe underneath. She is accented beautifully by the 80's vintage tan suede jacket material, and a handmade, hand stamped, vintage leather belt! :)

 - Upcycled worn and frayed denim jeans from the op-shop

 - Floral scarfe for the cutaway underlay 

 - 80's Vintage Suede Jacket for the tan base fabric 

 - Vintage handmade and hand stamped tan leather belt for the strap

 - Fallen tree branch button + magnet clasp

 - Lined with a vintage floral sheet

 - Hard internal base made from an upcycled 'corflute' SOLD sign

I personally pick all my materials from op-shops, second hand stores, markets, and online vintage fabric groups. I make my own patterns and everything is sewn and constructed by hand, by me, to a ridiculous and meticulous standard, and it's just so cool to have you here, to share the fun and beauty of these amazing upcycled materials!

Sometimes I will add random seams to limit fabric waste of smaller pieces. Pattern placements, accessories, belts, markings, and wear lines will change from item to item. Each bag is unique to the next, with it's own story to tell of where it's been in a previous life, and that is the beauty of it all!
