It will also work with Ford AOD, AODE, 4R70W, E40D, and 4R100s but requires the use of selector lever kits
B&M Pro Gate shifters are externally gated race shifters. The compact and lightweight design features a 10-gauge black oxide-coated 304 stainless steel base with a heavy-duty 303 stainless steel shift pin for longevity and bullet-proof performance. This model is ideal for use on 1966+ Chrysler, 1972+ AMC, and Ford C4, C5, and C6 transmissions. It will also work with Ford AOD, AODE, 4R70W, E40D, and 4R100s but requires the use of selector lever kits (sold separately). The 1018 steel shift stick includes a black B&M logo shift knob for shifting duties while the external gate plate is constructed from black oxide-coated 11-gauge 304 stainless steel for durability. Other features include thick injection-molded nylon side covers featuring a knurled texture with the B&M Pro Gate logo on both sides. The covers are removable for access to the virtually maintenance-free shifter sub-assembly and will not gum up with dirt affecting shift performance, which is ideal for Off-Road racing. The rear-exit cable design includes a black 5-ft Super Duty race shifter cable along with a cable bracket, shift lever, and all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation. Overall Dimensions - 9.1L x 2.6W x 9.5H This shifter kit includes all cable brackets and selector levers required for use with the following automatic transmissions: Chrysler (1966+) and AMC (1972+) - A727 / A518 and A904 / A500 Ford - C4 / C5 / C6 The shifter can also be used with the following transmissions, with the applicable B&M bracket and selector lever kits (sold separately). Additional instructions for these transmissions are included with their install kits. Cheaply made but functional

Pros:
The headrest is highly adjustable. Even if you're tall you'll likely be able to tilt it so that you can rest your head on it while reclining.
The instructions for putting it together are easy to follow.
It's perfectly serviceable as a desk chair with no glaring defects.
The mesh material keeps your body cool and dry even when sitting in it all day.
Cons
It's obviously very lightweight and cheaply made. This does make the chair easier to move, but this doesn't really feel like a $180 chair at all. More like a $120 or even $100 chair.
The chair back is attached to the chair seat by a plastic bracket. Nearly every desk chair I've had in the past has had their back attached to the bottom with a metal bracket, and even those start to bend out of shape after a year or so. While reclining a good portion of your weight will be resting on this plastic bracket, and I simply cannot see this cheap plastic lasting for very long supporting anyone's body weight over a long period of time. If you buy this chair, make sure to get the warranty.
The armrests are closer together than on most chairs, which creates a claustrophobic feeling of being squeezed by them. You get used to it eventually, and you can just put the armrests up if you want to, but a way to adjust the armrest width would have been nice.
The lumbar support doesn't really do anything at all. It only presses against my back at the most intense setting, and even then not very much.
There is no incremental recline setting. Either you are fully reclined, or sitting fully upright. Luckily the full recline setting is about perfect for me, but for a $180 chair you'd expect a bit more settings here.

Great Chair

Very comfortable chair! I’m a big guy - 6’ 2”, 285 lbs. and it fits me perfectly. The head rest is a nice touch and I appreciate it more than I thought I would. Lumbar support is in just the right position and is adjustable (more support vs. less support). It does adjust up and down but not very much. Was also super simple to put together although I did have to crank on the screws that attach the back of the arm rest to the back of the chair. If you’re looking for a place to plant your butt for 8 hours, this is your chair.

Absolute garbage chair. Only had for six month and the mesh on the seat has already come apart after using it for my home office. Chair was squaking after only three months and now I can't even sit in it cause it sags.
Can't even get my money back for this cheap garbage.

Very comfortable with good lower-back support
Most comfortable, well made, easy assembly office-gaming chair (very pleased)!
*I suggest, HOLD-OFF popping the seat onto the upper-cylinder until AFTER assembling the back-rest onto the seat/arm-seat with back-rest as a unit...can then be popped onto the upper gas-cylinder(Much more stable than fighting with chair freely rolling and turning) while attempting to aligning the holes assembling the back-rest.
Afterwards the seat with back-rest assembled can easily be popped onto to the upper-end of the gas-cylinder and we are good to go!
* do pay attention to using the correct bubble-packed bolts for each assembly, as directed
* all the holes align -up very precisely... so if screwing in the bolt(s) and after a couple-turns it gets hard-to-turn, we are 'cross-threading the bolt into the threaded hole...so back-out and realign the bolt as so it threads in very easy.
* the bubble-pack of bolts are clearly labeled so as we easily know which ones go where.
*0ne bubble-packet even includes a spare group just in case we lost one (like out in the grass-lawn)?
* Included a T-handle alien-head wrench (all needed for total assembly) very nice for having around if any re-tightening needed. all speaks Quality!

_ very comfortable cushioned well and excellent lower-back support
_ the faux-leather seems to be more thick and durable and stitching is NOT ripping-out (as my previous & more expensive chair had done with it's paper-thin faux leather)
_ easy assembled chair seems very sturdy and solid, (yet light weight), in moving around, (not some wobbly contraption as my previous more expensive chair).
_ a strong Five-Star rating!
