Our hazelnut oil is a deliciously fragrant gourmet oil that has amazing benefits and so many uses!!! We source the freshest Turkish hazelnuts, and cold press the oil in small batches to ensure that the oil retains the maximum of its nutrient content.

It can be used to add a delicious intense, nutty flavour to dressings and baking. It pairs wonderfully with vegetables, kefir, cheeses, meats and fish. Hazelnut oil shines as the star when used in salads!!

And we cant talk enough about how it works wonderfully as a hair and skincare product, with its high vitamin E content.

Usage Suggestions

  • Cooking Heat - Low to Medium: Perfect for sautéing, baking, dipping, blending into a dressing/sauce, drizzling on a finished dish, or as a substitute for butter.
  • Flavor - Bold : With its bold flavours, a little goes a long way, so use in moderation.
  • It is best stored in a cool, dark place, protected from direct sunlight.

What we love about Hazelnut Oil?

  • Wonderfully delicate, nutty & sweet-flavor & aroma
  • The nutritional value of minerals and vitamins in hazelnut oil surpass many other popular oils:

    1. Unsaturated fatty acids - up to 93% of the daily value in 100 grams of product, which is far more in hazelnut oil than other oils.

    2. Is abundant in Oleic acid (omega-9) along with linoleic, linolenic, stearic and other acids.

    3. Loaded with Vitamins - B, C, E

    4. A wide range of amino acids that are extremely important for the body.

    5. Many minerals (zinc, magnesium, sodium, iron, cobalt and others).

Suggested use in Skin & Hair Care

Now that you know how loaded with goodness this oil is, it shall come as no surprise that Hazelnut Oil works wonderfully in hair and skincare products. It is used in beauty care and recommended by dermatologists for its regenerating properties, to be used on its own or with a carrier oil. You can add it to store-bought cosmetics such as moisturizers, creams, tonics, shampoos, other hair and skin products (please do a patch test for sensitivity).

  1. With a high fat content, the oil is excellent for oily, combination and sensitive skin care.

  2. It’s very hydrating. The high vitamin E and fatty acid content in hazelnut oil helps increase hydration of the skin.

  3. Its protects against sun damage! This is one of our favorite benefits. Sunlight creates free radicals, which harm your cells and lead to signs of aging in your skin. Vitamin E in hazelnut oil helps protect your skin from sun damage.
  4. It helps prevent wrinkles. This is due to the content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and tocopherol (vitamin E), it is characterized by antioxidant properties.

  5. It works wonderfully as an astringent. Unlike commercial astringents which tend to dry skin out, the tannins in hazelnut oil help with dry and oily skin, cleanse and and remove bacteria, and shrink pores.

Why Cold pressed?

  • Cold pressed oil means the seeds are pressed in a low temperature that is below 36°C /98°F. This ensure their beneficial fatty chains are intact, and dont lose out on their goodness.
  • Commercial edible oils in supermarkets are generally hot pressed oils. Hot pressed oil means the seeds are roasted and pressed under very high temperature (above 49°C /120°F)
  • They also add petro-chemicals during the extraction process to get more oil out of the seeds.
  • Edible oils purchased in stores are known as "RBD" oils. These are oils that have been Refined, Bleached and Deodorized. As a result, these oils are generally tasteless, odorless, and colorless regardless of the original oilseed type or quality.
  • Multiple over processing like this, makes the resultant oil devoid of any benefits, and makes them anti-inflammatory, which is a big concern today for most people.
  • We have been using these commercial for decades now due to savvy marketing campaigns, but it is only in the recent times, through awareness about the importance and benefits, cold pressed oils became very popular once again.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST for Omegaverse Girls!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jillian West and her books!!! I’m so happy I already bought book two and now I have to buy the others for the Assurance Security series!! Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. I already bought part two so I’m going to be reading that in between work phone calls!!!! DON’T TELL MY BOSS 😂😂😂😂

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.
