Learn how to use your own basic blocks to create more interesting and unique garments. This is creative pattern cutting with a slightly edgier influences.

There are really only two basic processes involved in flat pattern cutting - dart manipulation and 'cut and spread'. Using these two techniques you will have fun experimenting and creating something more unique but wearable.

This is a very relaxed but creative way to 'design as you go' to come up with something no one else will be wearing! It will be a combination of flat cutting and draping to create your own designs.

You will need to have your own basic blocks to work from and an idea or two of what you want to create. Please bear in mind this is a creative course and as such there may not be time to completely finish a garment. But you will have a working pattern and an order of work to go away with to make up your new design.
