Latitude Board® Teak Charcuterie Board with Built In Cooling System
A real wood charcuterie board that actually keeps your food cold.
Keep cheese, fruit, and charcuterie fresh for at least 3-4 hours without ice bowls, condensation, or having to pull everything off the table halfway through.
The Latitude Board® is a premium teak charcuterie board with a hidden cooling system built right inside.
How It Works
A removable, interchangeable cooling pack slides into the board and gently chills through the teak.
The cooling pack sits inside the board, delivering an even chill across the surface.
Ice melts and creates moisture. Our PCM cooling packs hold a steady temperature, keeping your board chilled without the mess.
No direct ice. No sweating. A clean, consistent serve that stays chilled from start to finish.
A premium teak board that holds temperature so you don’t have to think about it.
Why It Works in Real Life
- Prep ahead so you’re not assembling when people arrive
- Build it at home and bring it with you in our custom designed thermal carrier
- Set it out and it stays cold while you enjoy your guests
- Swap the cooling pack to keep it colder, longer
There are plenty of wooden boards. There are plenty of ways to serve things cold. The Latitude Board® is the first to combine the two in a premium wooden board.
How It Compares
| Option | What Happens | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Wood Board | No cooling mechanism | Food warms quickly while on display |
| Marble Board | Passive cooling from the stone surface | Starts cold, warms quickly, and cannot be re-chilled once in use |
| Ice Bowl or Tray | Direct contact with ice | Condensation buildup and constantly needing to add more ice to keep it cold |
| Latitude Board® | Built in cooling through teak | A clean, consistent chill for at least 3-4 hours per cooling pack |
Why Teak
We know teak isn’t the cheapest wood, and this isn’t the lowest priced board. There’s a reason for that.
It is dense, naturally durable, and resists warping over time. It also has natural oils that make it more resistant to moisture and bacteria than many other woods used for serving boards.
That matters when you are working with cheeses, meats, and fresh ingredients. You want a surface that holds up and stays stable.
Teak also holds temperature differently than lighter woods. It keeps a steady chill without overdoing it or warming up too fast.
Softer woods like bamboo or acacia do not behave the same way. Repeated exposure to cooling packs and internal moisture can cause them to shift or warp over time.
That is where material choice matters.
Your food stays where it should. Not too cold, not warming up too fast.
Each board is handcrafted and naturally unique, with its own grain and color variation.
| Material | Temperature Hold | Durability | Overall Experience |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teak | Holds a steady chill for at least 3-4 hours | Dense, stable, and resistant to warping | Consistent, clean, and reliable |
| Bamboo | Warms quickly | Lighter and less stable | Less consistent over time |
| Acacia | Does not hold temperature as well | Moderate durability | Better for display than performance |
Material matters here. Our boards are handcrafted in small batches and made to last.
FAQ
Does the cold come through the wood?⌄
Yes, but not in a harsh way. The teak tempers the cooling so your food stays chilled without freezing or getting too cold to serve.
How long does the Latitude Board stay cold?⌄
At least 3-4 hours at room temperature, typically staying below 55°F and often in the upper 40s. Longer when used with the insulated carrier bag.
Will it make food soggy or create condensation?⌄
No. There is no direct contact with ice, so you do not get moisture buildup or soggy food.
Can I prep my charcuterie board ahead of time?⌄
Yes. You can build your board ahead of time and keep it chilled until you are ready to serve.
Is each board the same?⌄
No. Every Latitude Board is made from natural teak, so each one has its own unique grain and color variation.
