The EVP Billet Aluminum Extended Paddle Shifters are a driver-centric ergonomics upgrade designed specifically for the fixed-column shifting system on the Can-Am Maverick R. While most high-performance vehicles utilize shifting paddles that are difficult to reach during aggressive cornering, EVP has re-engineered the geometry and adjustability of the Maverick R paddles to provide a more natural, "supercar" tactile experience.
Ergonomic & Functional Re-Engineering
EVP engineers identified that the OEM paddle angle was not optimized for shifting while the steering wheel is turned. To correct this, they implemented several key design changes:

Natural Pull Angle: The angle of the paddle face has been modified so your fingers naturally follow the contour of the shifter, even when your hands are positioned for a tight turn.

Extended Reach: The larger surface area of the 6061 billet aluminum paddles ensures you can grab a gear from almost any hand position on the steering wheel.

3-Position Customization: Because hand size and finger length vary between drivers, these paddles feature three separate mounting positions. This allows you to move the paddles closer to or further away from the steering wheel for a truly bespoke fit.
