The 1:148 scale Foden FG 8 wheel truck will be most welcomed by collectors of brewery vehicles.  Appearing as a flatbed dray with chain sides, it features the distinctive Watney colour scheme of deep green and red and comes piled with crated bottles of their famous brews.  The dark green cab has a black moulded interior and the flatbed exterior is also dark green, sitting on a red chassis. The flatbed interior and load are dark brown. The signature Watneys beer kegs are printed red and black on the cab doors reminding us that they were the first company to manufacture export keg beer back in 1931, suitably stabilised to travel greater distances. The fine gold lettering printed along the flatbed sides promotes Watneys Ales and Stout. Our model is registered KXU 664, a nostalgic reminder of classic 1950s haulage.
