The downlights are designed with screwless terminals and connectors, guaranteeing a hassle-free installation process. They are also mains-powered, eliminating the need for a separate LED driver or transformer. Additionally, these LED downlights are insulation-coverable when paired with an LED lamp (maximum power of 7w). Remember to follow the bulb specifications to avoid exceeding the prescribed wattage and causing issues.
This LED downlight has a slim brushed chrome bezel that complements any decor style, whether mid-century modern or rustic vintage. It's also fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection and is suitable for solid joist and I-joist ceilings. A fire-rated downlight like this has an intumescent pad that expands when exposed to a specific temperature. The pad then blocks the gap surrounding the downlight, preventing the fire from passing through.
Our downlight is designed with a GU10 lamp holder, allowing for the use of any GU10 bulb. However, dimmable GU10 bulbs are preferable as they provide access to their dimming function (remember to pair this with an LED-compatible dimmer switch). The GU10 bulb comes in a cool white, natural white, and warm white light, each with its unique colour and tone.
