The REDARC Smart Start SBI12D is a microprocessor-controlled dual battery isolator designed for dual battery systems. It protects the start battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to supply non-essential loads. The SBI12D operates at 12 volt DC with a continuous rating of 100A and is built for heavy-duty use.

This compact dual sensing model is easy to install and isolates the start and auxiliary battery, allowing charging by external sources. After the auxiliary battery reaches 13.2V, the start battery can also be charged.

For some reason the other was stalled somewhere in Kentucky as of this morning and upon communication a replacement was ordered by Amazon. I'm very happy with this one , just wish the frustration hadn't arisen over the shipping for other and will update or rate after I receive that one.

I guess it all depends on what you are using it for to determine if you'll like it. I have a large sheepskin rug in another room. This one in my opinion is too skinny to be used as a rug.
