This is possible due to new C Class bracing, made specifically for the Grand Theater for the purpose of rethinking how a smaller top vibrates.

The innovation does not stop at the body shape. The Grand Theater has a solid Spruce top and Urban Ash back and sides, a new addition to the Taylor Guitars tonewood arsenal. Matched with the new Eucalyptus fretboard, this tone wood combination helps mold the smaller bodied Grand Theater into a full Taylor Guitars sound.
