Get ready to combat the cold with our ECWCS Gen III Level II Underwear Top. Made from breathable, mid-weight grid fleece material that is great for layering, the thermal base layer military shirt is designed to keep you warm, comfortable, and dry, even in the harshest winter weather. The waffle thermal also features anti-microbial and anti-odor defense, ensuring that you stay fresh and clean through winter combat missions and cold weather activities. Stay Warm & Dry: The base layer t-shirt wicks sweat and moisture away for optimum comfort, swiftly transferring it to the top layer for a quick dry. This allows you to move freely without your clothing sticking to you, ideal for winter operations, hiking, camping, skiing, snowboarding, hunting, and other outdoor activities. Comfortable Fit: Built from a soft polyester / spandex blend, the grid fleece fabric easily flexes and contorts with your body for optimum comfort. The zip collar allows the long sleeve undershirt to be worn as a turtleneck for additional protection. The extended back tail ensures total coverage when crouching or moving, while the thumb holes keep your sleeves in place. Active-Duty Approved: The thermal shirt is part of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) and is a must-have for any military personnel, tactical professional, or outdoor enthusiast in cold climates. Whether you are gearing up for a mission or camping up in the mountains, you will want to keep a pair on you. Better Together: Stay warm and comfortable this winter with our matching ECWCS Gen III Level II Underwear Bottoms. The base layer pants feature the same breathable, mid-weight grid fleece material as the top, ensuring that you’re ready for the mission at hand.

Started w/ audiobook, now I'm ordering the print too
Format: Paperback
This book is GREAT!! The integration of theory she uses to support her claims is masterful. I began listening to the audiobook, because it was cheaper & I go through a ton of counseling & psych books. I am a grad student in social work, and I'm also a therapy client trying to heal myself. I appreciate that this book targets "chronic shame" which as a central experience to a bunch of issues. The hundreds of books and articles I've researched seem like they were mostly ALL working back to this issue. In a psychology culture that is big on cognitive and chemical solutions to mental health, the relational approach that she emphasizes is critical to the healing process. I appreciate the research she uses from object relations, affect regulation, interpersonal, etc. I purchased the hard copy because 1. I can't underline/highlight an audiobook and 2. I want a copy of the references of theorists and study's that she draws from, because they are pure gold. All therapists need to understand the contents of this book! Unless you are perfectly fine offering band aid solutions. Clients and self-helpers beware. It's not triggering in terms of content, it is activating in the sense that she describes the felt experience of shame SO WELL. I could locate my own felt sense of shame which is, by default, unpleasant. Some stabilization and a decent therapeutic connection is probably necessary before cracking this book open. But that's why I love it. I needed to go deeper and get the core issues. And this book is like a map that guides you right to it.

One of the best books on shame out there
Format: Paperback
As a shame researcher and educator, I often refer to DeYoung's book because it is so full of resources and relational tools for clinicians and individuals relating to the neurobiology of shame. It is a very small book with A LOT of information. Many references to the shame research and suggestions for treating shame in clinical practice from a perspective of right brain relationship dynamics. Thank you Patricia!

Highly recommend.
Format: Paperback
One of the most helpful, lucid, and comprehensive books on shame I've encountered. This was required reading for graduate school and is now one of my most returned to, dog-eared, and referenced books. Can't recommend enough.
