Er ermöglicht den Abgriff der Strom- und/oder Lautsprecherverkabelung aus dem fahrzeugseitigen Radiokabelbaum, ohne diesen zu beschädigen oder die Funktion des Werksradios zu beeinträchtigen. Die Installation von zusätzlichen Komponenten wie Freisprecheinrichtungen, Endstufen oder High-Low-Wandlern in den fahrzeugspezifischen Radioanschlusskabelbaum ist rückrüstfähig. Anschluss über 40 Pin Quadlock (m/f) mit VAG Stecker und MQS-Einsatz, voll belegt. Die Leitung rot führt +12V Zündung Klemme 15 und ist abgesichert. Bei Fahrzeugen mit serienmäßig verbauten aktiven Soundsystemen nur eingeschränkt oder gar nicht verwendbar.
