Outburst ist ein temporeiches Partyspiel von Hasbro, das schnellen Denkspaß und Interaktion bei geselligen Spieleabenden bietet. In diesem Gesellschaftsspiel treten zwei Teams gegeneinander an und versuchen, innerhalb einer begrenzten Zeit möglichst viele Begriffe zu einem vorgegebenen Thema zu erraten. Die Themenkarten enthalten jeweils einen Oberbegriff und darunter zehn gesuchte Begriffe, die erraten werden müssen. Ein spezieller Sichtschirm ermöglicht dem gegnerischen Team, richtig erratene Begriffe zu markieren und Punkte zu vergeben.

Das Spiel enthält über 450 verschiedene Themen mit insgesamt etwa 800 Antworten, die auf beiden Seiten der Karten gedruckt sind. Zusätzlich gibt es einen Würfel, mit dem Bonuspunkte erzielt werden können, sowie Chips zum Passieren von Themen. Das Ziel ist es, als erstes Team 60 Punkte zu erreichen. Durch die einfache Spielmechanik ist das Spiel ideal für Spieleabende mit Familie und Freunden geeignet und fördert schnelles Denken und gute Kommunikation.
