Auf den tragikomischen Farbfotografien leuchtet ein Moskau, in dem das omnipräsente Militär und der allgegenwärtige Putin-Kult auf Kitsch und Folklore treffen; Insignien der Globalisierung finden sich neben orthodoxen Kirchen, die zwischen Tankstellen und grauen Plattenbausiedlungen fast verschwinden. Dokumentarisch und zugleich augenzwinkernd zeichnet das Fotobuch ein Porträt des Alltags in dem postsowjetischen Staat als Potpourri aus Pop-Patriotismus, Tradition und Moderne.AUSSTELLUNGEN
