Basierend auf unserem einsteigerfreundlichen 2145 bringt der Amp SLS 1750 dieselbe Spannweite von 143 cm, jedoch mit einem höheren Aspect Ratio, kürzerer Profiltiefe und dünnerem Profil. Dies reduziert den Widerstand und steigert die Leistung sowie die Pumpgeschwindigkeit. Mit einer Fläche von 1750 cm² bietet der Amp 1750 fortgeschrittenen und erfahrenen Pump Foilern mühelose Starts und deutlich höhere Geschwindigkeiten im Vergleich zum 2145.

In Kombination mit unserem neuen, hocheffizienten Stabilizer H werden Projektion, Gleiteffizienz und Energieverbrauch verbessert, wodurch der Amp SLS zur perfekten Waffe für das tägliche Training wird, um die Pumptechnik, Ausdauer und zurückgelegte Distanzen zu verbessern.

Der Amp SLS eignet sich auch zum Erlernen der Grundlagen des Paddelns für SUP-Downwinder und kann in kleinen, langsam bewegenden Wellen für schwerere Fahrer verwendet werden.

Interesting book, dull period

As a Marxist historian, Hobsbawm sees the world at this time, as well as the modern world, as a playground for the forces of capitalism. He apologizes for taking a eurocentric approach to world history, while acknowledging that Europe largely determined the course of world events during this period. In spite of the title, there actually isn't much discussion of colonial empires; Hobsbawm seems more interested in how the Age of Empire affected the rulers more than the ruled. His Marxist sympathies are in evidence and at times make his conclusions a bit predictable, but some of his cultural critiques are quite brilliant. The chapter on the dilemmas posed by modern science is exceptional. Reading a book like this seems to me much more interesting than actually living in this period would have been.
