Die Fotografin Abisag Tüllmann (1935-1996) beobachtete als Bildjournalistin mit großem Engagement die politischen und sozialen Entwicklungen ihrer Zeit und war zugleich eine der bedeutendsten deutschen Theaterfotografinnen.Nach ihrem fulminanten Debüt mit dem Fotobuch Großstadt, einem Porträt Frankfurts, hielt sie im Umfeld von Studentenunruhen, Bürgerbewegungen und Kunst-Avantgarde Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Joschka Fischer, Rudi Dutschke oder Joseph Beuys in Fotografien fest, die in das allgemeine Bildgedächtnis eingegangen sind. Mit ihrer Kamera begleitete sie als international tätige Berichterstatterin unter anderem den Nahostkonflikt und die Befreiungsbewegungen in Afrika. Daneben übersetzte Tüllmann bahnbrechende Bühneninszenierungen von Claus Peymann, Peter Stein oder Robert Wilson in eine künstlerisch eigenständige Bildwelt. Die Publikation stellt auf rund 300 Abbildungen den ersten repräsentativen Querschnitt durch ihr erstaunlich vielfältiges Gesamtwerk vor.

Divinely Inspired
Format: Paperback
Yet another divinely inspired book from Praying Medic!!! Dave has a unique writing style of choosing his words, not to impress, but to be very readable, engaging, and most informative. This book (and others that I have read of his) leave the reader feeling informed on the topics and with a profound sense that Dave truly cares about our awareness of and safety from the perils of the spiritual battles we face. My takeaways are several relevant insights to issues and demons my own family is encountering and solid suggestions for dealing with them head-on. For someone seeking a primer (short yet meaningful chapters) on the evils that exist all around us, I strongly recommend reading what Praying Medic has presented here.
