Pastrami ist eine beliebte Fleischzubereitung, die traditionell aus gepökeltem und gewürztem Rindfleisch, meist der Rinderbrust (Brisket), hergestellt wird. Ursprünglich stammt Pastrami aus Osteuropa, insbesondere aus Rumänien, und wurde von jüdischen Einwanderern nach Nordamerika gebracht, wo es vor allem in New York City zu einer kulinarischen Ikone wurde.

 

Verwendung

Für ein perfektes Ergebnis reibe das Fleisch zunächst mit 120 g der Pökelmischung pro Kilogramm ein. Anschließend vakuumierst du das Fleisch oder lagerst es in geeigneten Boxen und pökelst es 14 Tage im Kühlschrank. Nach dem Pökeln bestreiche das Fleisch mit Senf und reibe es mit 80 g Räucher-Rub pro Kilogramm Fleisch ein. Danach erneut vakuumieren und weiterverarbeiten, um den typischen Pastrami-Geschmack zu erzielen.

Der Räucher Rub verleicht deiner Pastrami eine charakteristische Rauchnote, während die Pastrami-Pökelmischung für eine würzige Note sorgt. Die harmonische Mischung aus Tellicherry Pfeffer, Koriander, Thymian, Zwiebel, Kardamom, Paprika und Jalapeno bietet ein Geschmackserlebnis, das den Charme von New York direkt zu dir nach Hause bringt.

Good Long Lasting Filters

I've been using Brita pitchers for years and these replacement filters continue to be one of the easiest and most affordable ways to improve the taste of regular tap water without installing a full filtration system.
