VETUS-Hydraulikpumpen sind volumenvariable, lastabhängige Kolbenpumpen, die bei allen Drehzahlen der Zapfwelle/des Primärantriebsmotors den vollen Hydraulikfluss und -druck bereitstellen können, sofern der Motor bei diesen Drehzahlen genügend Leistung erbringt. Diese Pumpen passen sich selbst an die Anforderungen der aktivierten Verbraucher an, und wenn kein Hydraulikfluss erforderlich ist, stoppen sie das Pumpen und laufen im Freilauf, so dass keine Kupplung am Nebenabtrieb (PTO), an dem die Pumpe montiert ist, erforderlich ist.
