Biegefestigkeit
Die Forststiefel sind auf extreme Belastung ausgelegt. So werden im Prüflabor die Sohlen nach einem genormten Einstich 30.000 Mal abgebogen, ohne dass sie mehr als 4 mm einreissen dürfen.
Härtetest
Die Stahlkappe muss standhalten und der Fuss darf nicht verletzt werden, wenn der Fall eines 20 Kilogramm schweren Gewichts aus einem Meter Höhe simuliert wird.
Schnittschutz
Der Schnittschutz in den Sicherheits-Schnürstiefeln verläuft über den gesamten Vorderfuß einschließlich der Zunge.
