Spikeout: Battle Street für die klassische Xbox (2005) ist ein klassisches 3D-Beat-’em-Up im Stil von Final Fight. Die Spieler kämpfen sich in der Rolle verschiedener Gang-Mitglieder durch Areale, um Horden von Feinden auszuschalten, Tore aufzubrechen und Bossgegner zu besiegen. 

Kern-Features im Überblick
  • Handlung: Zehn Jahre nach dem ersten großen Krieg der legendären Gangs flammt der Konflikt zwischen Team Spike und Team Inferno erneut auf. Angeführt wird der neue Kampf von Spike Jr., der die Nemesis seines Vaters stürzen will.
  • Kampfsystem: Ihr nutzt Schläge, Tritte, Würfe und akrobatische Manöver. Durch das Gedrückthalten der Tasten lassen sich mächtige aufgeladene Spezialangriffe ausführen.
  • Leveldesign: Jedes Level besteht aus mehreren Bereichen. Ihr müsst alle Gegner ausschalten und anschließend ein leuchtendes Barriere-Tor aufbrechen, um in den nächsten Abschnitt vorzurücken. Pfeile weisen euch dabei den Weg.
  • Spielmodi:
    • Story-Modus: Detaillierter Einzelspieler-Modus.
    • Battle Street-Modus: Ermöglicht kooperatives Gameplay, bei dem bis zu vier Spieler gemeinsam Areale säubern können.
