Zur Grundausstattung gehören App-basierte Automatisierungs-, Update- und Backup-Möglichkeiten. Eine Migration von älteren Eltako-Controllern ist möglich. Der MiniSafe2 kann grundsätzlich offline und lokal betrieben werden, ein Internet-Zugang wird dafür nicht benötigt.
