Mit dem LEGO Technic Lunar Outpost Mondrover-Raumfahrzeug (42211) starten Kinder ab 10 Jahren spannende Missionen auf dem Mond. Dieses detailreiche Raumfahrtspielzeug ist von realen Lunar Outpost Fahrzeugen inspiriert, die in Zukunft für die Rückkehr des Menschen auf den Mond entwickelt werden. Das futuristische Hauptmodell ist ein geländegängiger LEGO Mondrover mit echter 4-Rad-Lenkung, Schwingenaufhängung, ausfahrbaren Solarmodulen und einem drehbaren Greifarm. Der Arm kann den kleinen Schürfrover absetzen, der dann Mondregolith (Mondgestein) aufsammelt und die Proben in einem Behälter verstaut. Ein weiterer kleiner Roboter – der MAPP-Rover – wird losgeschickt, um weitere Daten von der Mondoberfläche zu sammeln. Looks ok if you don't look too close. Not likely to last long.

Got here fast, which was great since our company "upgraded" its video conferencing software and virtual backgrounds no longer work. But I can only describe the item as rickety and sloppily built. See photos: visible gaps in the weave that show the frame through. Chewed up screws in the hinges look like someone took them out and put them back in several times... or salvaged them from another unit.
On the whole, it doesn't seem sturdy. I'll be folding it up and re-deploying it several times a week, so I'll be surprised if it will still stand up in a year. Not a good value for the price, really, except that demand on these right now has prices pushed upward. I'd be happy enough if I'd spent $39.99 rather than over a hundred.
