Durch die Anwendung des KERALIT Huf-Festigers wird das Horn gefestigt und wesentlich strapazierfähiger. Das Horn wird im Bereich der Weißen Linie, des Tragrands und der Sohle stabilisiert und für schädliche Bakterien und Pilze unverdaulich. Die hornzersetzenden Schadstoffe, wie z.B. Ammoniak oder Schwefelwasserstoff aus der Stalleinstreu, werden neutralisiert. Der Hornabrieb barhufiger Pferde wird stark vermindert. Die Hufe werden deutlich belastbarer und stabiler. Die Eisen beschlagener Pferde sitzen fester, die Nagellöcher reißen nicht mehr aus. Für zähes und widerstandsfähiges Horn, egal ob barhuf oder beschlagen.
Anwendung: Den Huf vorab mit einer harten, trockenen Bürste reinigen. KERALIT Huf-Festiger auf trockene oder leicht feuchte Hufe auftragen.
Bei Barhufern: außen auf das untere Drittel der Hufwand, unten auf Tragrand und Weiße Linie. Bei fühligen Pferden zusätzlich auf die Sohle.
Bei beschlagenen Pferden: auf das unterste Drittel der Hufwand (mind. bis über alte und neue Nagellöcher) und leicht unter das Eisen streichen, um Zersetzung in der Weißen Linie zu reduzieren. Im akuten Fall täglich anwenden, bei Besserung 2× wöchentlich, zur Vorbeugung 1× wöchentlich.
