Seen sind Stillgewässer, die grundsätzlich vollständig von einer Landfläche umgeben sind und teilweise auch durch Fließgewässer einen Zu- oder Abfluss haben. Neben ihrer Bedeutung für die Natur, bieten Seen umfangreiche Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten im Wasser und am Ufer zur Erholung. Der Kalender bereist unterschiedliche Seen, von idyllischen Bergseen über Stauseen bis zum größten deutschen Binnengewässer.
