In Zug um Zug Legacy: Legenden des Westens erkunden die Spieler die Welt des beliebten Zug-Spiels und erleben eine kreative Geschichte. Die Spieler begeben sich in der Kampagne voller Abenteuer auf eine Reise durch 12 Partien und führen ihre eigene Eisenbahngesellschaft zu Wohlstand und Reichtum.

Zug um Zug Legacy: Legenden des Westens lässt sich ebenso schnell erlernen wie die anderen Spiele der Zug um Zug-Reihe, lässt die Spieler jedoch eine fortlaufende Geschichte und ein neuartiges Spielgefühl erleben. Durch die Entscheidungen in den 12 Partien der Legacy-Kampagne entsteht ein einzigartiges Exemplar, das immer wieder gespielt und erlebt werden kann.
