Der Leopard-Trugschilderwels (Ancistomus cf. sabaji, auch bekannt als L75) ist ein beliebter Wels aus der Familie der Harnischwelse. Um ihn artgerecht zu halten, solltest du folgende Bedingungen beachten:
Aquariumgröße und Einrichtung
- Aquariumgröße: Mindestens 240 Liter, da diese Welse eine Größe von etwa 15–18 cm erreichen können.
- Bodengrund: Sand oder feiner Kies sind geeignet, da diese Fische gerne gründeln.
- Verstecke: Viele Höhlen und Versteckmöglichkeiten aus Wurzeln, Steinen und Tonröhren sind wichtig, da der Leopard-Trugschilderwels ein eher scheuer Fisch ist und gerne Verstecke aufsucht.
- Pflanzen: Robuste Pflanzen wie Anubias und Javafarn können gut eingesetzt werden, da sie wenig Licht brauchen und nicht gefressen werden.
Wasserwerte
- Temperatur: 25–30 °C, optimal sind 26–28 °C.
- pH-Wert: 6,0–7,5 (leicht saures bis neutrales Wasser).
- Härte: Weiches bis mittelhartes Wasser (bis etwa 15 °dGH).
Ernährung
- Futter: Allesfresser, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf pflanzliche Nahrung gelegt werden sollte. Spirulinatabletten, Gurken, Zucchini und weiteres Gemüse sind gut geeignet. Ab und zu sollte auch tierisches Futter wie Frostfutter (z. B. Artemia oder Mückenlarven) gereicht werden.
Sozialverhalten
- Vergesellschaftung: Der L75 ist ein eher friedlicher Fisch und kann gut mit anderen friedlichen Arten vergesellschaftet werden. Allerdings kann es bei mehreren Männchen zu Revierkämpfen kommen. Daher wird oft empfohlen, entweder nur ein Männchen zu halten oder genügend Versteckplätze zu bieten.
Pflegehinweise
- Wasserwechsel: Regelmäßige Teilwasserwechsel sind wichtig, um die Wasserqualität stabil zu halten.
- Beleuchtung: Gedämpfte Beleuchtung, da der Wels dämmerungsaktiv ist und sich bei zu viel Licht tagsüber zurückzieht.
Diese Bedingungen tragen dazu bei, dass sich der Leopard-Trugschilderwels wohlfühlt und gesund bleibt.

Instructions are useless

This was the best

Good privacy screen

This is a good privacy screen that's easy to assemble and looks nice. Be a little careful moving it, as the corners can twist. It's sturdy once in place, and the thick material is completely opaque. If the folds bother you, you might want to iron it, but I'm happy with it as is.

Lightweight divider that works well for video call backgrounds
Size: 1 Panel
This divider works fine for what it is, but it’s definitely on the lightweight side.
Setup was very easy and only took a few minutes. The frame is fairly light, so it’s easy to move around or reposition if needed. That said, the tradeoff is that it’s not especially sturdy. It stands fine on its own but I wouldn’t expect it to handle much bumping or movement.
I mainly bought it to use as a background for Zoom calls when I’m working from my den, and for that purpose it works great. The fabric panel blocks the room behind me and gives a cleaner background on camera.
It’s not huge though. To keep the camera from seeing around it, I have to position it directly behind my chair. If you’re expecting it to divide a large room or create a big privacy barrier, it may feel a bit small.
Overall, it does the job and works well for temporary setups or video call backgrounds, but the lightweight frame keeps it from feeling like a premium divider.
